Announcement - 12 and 19 December 2009 and 31 January 2010

Drop by any time between 12 noon and 4 pm on Saturday 12, 19 December 2009 or Sunday 31 January 2010 to escape from the seasonal hurly-burly and enter an oasis of calm and tranquility at an authentic Chinese tea ceremony!

We're hosting this first Winter Warmer Tea Open House at a lovely venue a stone's throw from Portobello Road.

We will be putting on a free demonstration of traditional tea brewing and offers samples of premium green, black and oolong teas plus a selection of our gorgeous, freshly baked patisserie made with tea as an ingredient!

We are also excited to be launching at the Winter Warmer Tea Open House several gorgeous new teas including fragrant and fruity Shanghai Chic , captivatingly aromatic Organic Golden Monkey , a cold brew version of the very popular Lychee Black , the unique Lishan Oolong , the alluring Silky Oolong, and a range of unusual, premium Japanese green teas including zesty Ginger Tangerine Sencha , exotic Yuzu Sencha and refreshing Shiso Sencha.

Teanamu is very excited to be presenting a range of teas and tea patisserie at Covent Garden Piazza on 20 August and 17 September 2009 from 12 noon to 8pm.

This coincides with the launch of teanamu online tea store on 20 August 2009.

Announcement - 22 May 2008

teanamu at the RNIB Teanamu is doing three free tea appreciation taster workshops at the Royal National Institute for Blind People as part of their "Learn at Work Day".

Participants will get the chance to experience the Gong Fu Cha ceremony while tasting three historically famous teas and delicious pâtisserie made with tea.

 

Announcement - 09 September 2007

Teanamu (formerly known as Yang Infusions) will be doing a series of free tea appreciation taster teanumu at the British Museumworkshops at The British Museum, London, during "The First Emperor - China's Terracotta Army" exhibition. These taster workshops will be held as part of the Museum's "China Late" events. These events will take place on the early evenings of the first Thursday of every month from October to December 2007 and March to April 2008.

These taster workshops offer an up close view of the Chinese tea ceremony and a chance to taste some historically famous teas and delicious pâtisserie made with tea.

We will also be serving teas at the Museum on Chinese New Year's Day (18 February 2007) and at the "Poems On the Underground" event (14 February 2007) which celebrates Poetry, Myth and Music with guest poet Bei Dao.
